Designed to maximize containment performance and energy efficiency, the Hamilton Pioneer is the first "low flow" laboratory fume hood to utilize Directed Airflow Technology™.  The innovative Pioneer airflow system provides enhanced performance at lower face velocities by purging the area in front of the user's body with a controlled airflow of recycled room air. This feature makes the Pioneer more robust and applicable to adverse installations such as retrofits.

The Hamilton Pioneer also provides a higher sight line, chain and sprocket counterbalance, and a low profile sill to enhance safety and comfort. Pioneer hoods are available in five benchtop width configurations.
